Mobile App Development

MVP App Development

A first version of your app for iOS, Android and the web, scoped to the features that prove the idea and built on a codebase that can grow, so launching fast doesn't mean starting over later.

Overview

Launch the smallest version that answers the real question

Most first versions fail because they try to do too much, not too little. An MVP should answer one question, will people use this and pay for it, with as few features as it takes to find out, and it should be built well enough that you can keep going if the answer is yes.

We start with a short scoping workshop to cut the feature list to what the launch needs, then build one cross-platform app in React Native or Flutter with a shared backend, so iOS, Android and web ship together. We use AI-assisted development to move faster on routine code, with experienced developers reviewing everything, and include analytics from day one so the launch tells you something.

Questions

Common questions about MVP apps

4 questions

How long does an MVP take?

Most MVPs we scope take eight to twelve weeks from kickoff to store submission. The scoping workshop is where that number gets set, because every extra feature adds to it.

React Native, Flutter or native?

For an MVP, cross-platform is almost always the right call: one codebase, one team, both stores. We pick React Native or Flutter based on your team and plans, and move to native only if the app depends on features cross-platform can't handle well.

We already built a prototype with an AI tool. Can you start from that?

Often, yes. We'll review what's there and keep what's sound, which can save weeks. If it isn't safe to build on, we'll reuse the designs and logic and rebuild the foundations.

Who owns the code?

You do. The code, accounts and store listings are yours from the start, so you can bring development in-house or move to another team whenever you like.
