Q: What does Pixel2HTML do?

We are a Front-end Development company. We can create Front-end code (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) at your request. We specialise in Design to HTML/CSS conversions in which you or your team would provide us with a design in any common format (Photoshop, Sketch, Illustrator, etc.) and we will slice and code that into a fully functional website. We can also provide integrations with CMS such as WordPress or Shopify. Our team can also tackle some custom projects, just contact us to see if we can help you out.

Q: Where can I get a quote?

If you feel your project needs a tailored quote, no problem with that. Just contact us here including the designs, your brief specifications for the project and let us know your name and email address so we can get back to you as soon as possibly. For projects within 1 to 10 pages we usually reply within the next 24 business hours. For bigger projects it might take within 1 to 3 business days depending on the complexity of your quote.

Q: Can you make it faster?

While most of the time making a project takes time, we might be able to speed up your project. If you have already started your project just contact us inside the client area and we will talk about it with you. Remember that sometimes complying with shorter delivery dates will make your project's price increase proportionally.

Q: Which files can you take?

We can work with almost all layered design files, such as: Adobe Photoshop (.psd) files, Sketch (.sketch) files, Adobe Illustrator files (.ai) and Adobe Fireworks (.png) files. While sometimes Adobe InDesign files can be used it, we may not be able to work with this.

Q: What do you consider a "page"?

We consider each page as any layout up to 2000px height maximum. If you have a tall page (like 1024x6000px) we will take that one as a three page project. There are always exceptions and we will always try to keep the pricing as efficient as we can. This is usually an industry standard for measuring.

Q: Do you backup my files?

Yes, we actually do. Our system keeps your files and code versions available for at least 3 months, if you lose something we can provide you with the files again. If the project is more than 3 months old, we can search the archives but it will take a while and we can 't guarantee that the files will be 100% available to you.

Q: Which forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (AMEX, Visa, Master Card, DISCOVER) directly on our site & payments using your PayPal account. We also accept bank wires for certain amounts. For security measures, payments over $5k are only accepted via wire transfers.

Q: How much do you charge?

The final price of your project will be calculated using the following variables: number of pages, turnaround time & additional options selected. Our order page calculates an estimated price automatically while you place your order to give you a general idea. The final price of your order will be confirmed by one of our project managers after reviewing the files, selected additional options and your notes or specifications for the project. If you make a payment that's over the final quote, we will refund you the difference asap and if you make a payment under the final quote we will ask you to pay the difference. Simple as that! In case you need an estimate before placing your order or you have any other questions we can assist your with feel free to contact us via email.

Q: When do I have to pay?

We work with upfront payments. However, in case of multiple page orders, you can pay upfront for the markup of only the first page. We will create the HTML/CSS for that and send it to you for you review on the agreed delivery date, if the markup and if you're satisfied with the code, you submit can clear the payment for the rest of the pages in a new invoice with an updated delivery date. It's really that simple. If you are interested in other payment options or you are part of a company with a payments or procurement department, feel free to contact us.

Can I get a discount?

There are discount campaigns from time to time, be sure to follow us on Twitter or Follow us on Facebook to stay up to date with the latest discounts and offers on PSD to xHTML / CSS. We also offer discounts for big order, we can let you know if your order applies after reviewing it.

Q: Can you install my website?

Yes of course, we can install your project files on your web hosting for a small fee (depending on level of complexity of project). If you wish us to do this, please write it on the notes area and provide us with the login credentials needed.

Q: Do you code Emails?

Yes, of course! We can slice and code your design into HTML/CSS Email Template code. We can also add tags to make it compatible with MailChimp, Campaign Monitor or Constant Contact. Our Templates support all major email clients both web based and desktop which includes: Yahoo Mail, Gmail, Hotmail/Outlook, Apple mail, Microsoft Outlook App & Mozilla Thunderbird.

Q: Which Js libraries do you use?

Although jQuery is our favourite Javascript framework, we can work with Prototype, Script.aculo.us if the order requests them. Please take in consideration that there might be extra charges for this.

Q: Which browsers do you support?

Our team tests all the projects we do in the following browsers:

Q: Can you provide support for IE8-10?

While we don't support IE8-10 by default, we can provide compatibility with at a custom rate and depending your project. Just contact us and we'll let you know the fees involved for your project in a specific case.

Q: Where do you test my project?

We test all projects using Operating Systems such as: Windows 7 & 10, Max OS X, iOS, Android & Linux.

Q: What does Responsive Mean?

Responsive design is a technology that allows web page elements to change their size and position according to the screen resolution. This is based on "CSS Media Queries". We can make a site responsive in Internet Explorer 9 and above, and the latest versions of Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, and Opera. Please make sure that your designs have these widht screen dimensions: Desktops: 1024px, Tablets: 768px, Mobile devices: 480px or 320px.

Q: Which default media queries do you use?

We use the following media queries: Desktop 1024px, Tablets: 768px, Mobile: 320px. If you need anything custom, just let us know in your project brief and we'll take a look into it.

Q: Can you code BackEnd?

We can provide BackEnd programming solutions from our associated partners, feel free to let us know if you need a solution so we can get you in touch with them for this sort of work.

Q: Which CMS can you work with?

We currently work with WordPress as our main CMS and we can also provide integrations with Shopify if you have an e-commerce project.

Q: Do you take any holidays?

We take all normal Public Holidays according to Argentina's National Calendar. We will notify you if our office will be closed prior to any holiday. You can also check this website for dates.

Q: Can I request something additional?

For sure! Just include it on your project brief so we can analyse it

Q: Can you clean my website?

We always prefer to do all the code from scratch, so we can guarantee the greatest quality in the final delivery. However, if you would like a markup for an existing site to be remade, please provide us with the local HTML version of the site (html, css, images, etc.) packed in a zip file so that we can open the page locally to asses the amount of work. Please also let us know in which browsers the page is displayed correctly or provide us with the screenshot/mockup of how the page should look. By default, we do not include link URLs in the code. If you are interested in any additional functionality, please let us know and we'll quote it accordingly.

Q: Can you code my website without a PSD?

To achieve optimal results, most of the time we require you to send us a Layered File (PSD/Sketch/Illustrator) but sometimes we can code your site from a JPG. Send us your design and we'll be able to tell if it's viable. Remember since this is harder it might have an extra cost.

Q: Where are you guys located?

We are everywhere, no kidding, check out Team Page, and your will see. Apart from that we pride ourselves om being a remote team, we're headquarted in Buenos Aires, Argentina. We use Argentina Standard Time (GMT -3 Hs) in all our time estimates.
